Training objectives

  • Understanding the nature of the phenomenon of professional burnout;

  • To raise awareness of the dangers inherent in the individual and the external environment;

  • The use of methods to protect against burnout and strategies for dealing with its symptoms at different stages of the development of the problem;

  • Introducing methods for expanding self-awareness and practices for working with the body, breath and mind.

Day 1.  
Professional burnout: nature of the phenomenon and risk factors: a psychological workshop

1. baseline analysis of the Trainees,
2.Current knowledge of the nature of the problem,
3. sources and mechanisms of burnout,
4 The individual as a potential source of burnout,
5. work environment as a risk factor for burnout,
6. interpersonal relationships and burnout,
7. workshop block devoted to analyzing the professional experience of participants in the context of recognizing the symptoms of burnout and risk factors,
8 Summary and feedback.

Day 2.  
Harmony of body, breath and mind

Day 3.  
Prevention of professional burnout: a psychological workshop

1. protective factors and strategies to prevent the development of the syndrome,
2. practical tips on. Burnout prevention at the individual level,
3. Best practices in burnout prevention at the organizational level,
4. Supervision as a strategy for long-term support of employee development in the service of protection against burnout,
5. Conscious use of supervision in daily professional practice.
6 Summary and feedback.

Day 4.  
Mindfulness practice as a method of expanding self-awareness, learning about one's own mind and effectively taking care of psychophysical well-being

1. Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT),
2 Contemplative practices:
embedding and anchoring attention in the body; observing sensory impressions related to breathing; observing thoughts; and cognitive exercises derived from CBT cognitive-behavioral therapy.
